This is "Jimbo" and Jim Nabors, international celebrity aka "Gomer Pyle."

Mr. Nabors purchased Jimbo from Ulta x Bo's June 2011 litter.  We kept Jimbo for nearly 9 mos due to Hawaii's rabies free law.  Jimbo was shipped to Hawaii on Friday and Mr. Nabors received him today, March 24.  It has been a wonderful experience selling Jimbo to one of my favorite entertainers.  Jimbo and I watched "Gomer Pyle USMC" on DVD since he was a puppy.  (see photos below (3/22/12 photos) I grew up watching Gomer and so did Jimbo!  We will miss Jimbo, but we know he's in a wonderful loving home.

Hi Kathy,

Jimbo is doing Great! He is very curious about everything, and very careful!

Wendy (the dog trainer) really likes him. She was pleased at how much Jimbo wants to please.

At the end of the day Wendy said you don't need me, this is a very smart dog, He is going to teach you everything you need to know !!

We are going for a walk around noon before it gets too warm. Lucky we have been having cool weather 78 degrees cool!

All the Best,

Stan & Jim

This is "Seven" a 11 wk old male pup from Ulta x Bo.

"Seven" as a young puppy.

Hi Kathy & Willy,

I hope you are doing well. We purchased the only male from Ulta & Bo's February litter.  His name is 7 (seven). I'm a Seinfeld fan & he was named after a Seinfeld episode called "The Seven" (Mickey Mantle's number). 7 is doing great ! He weighed 27 pounds at 11.5 weeks old. He is a giant puppy with a giant heart. He is so sweet. We get compliments everywhere we take him.  He had zero problems adjusting to his new home. He learned to give me his paws in 5 minutes, 2 weeks after we got him. Smart and observant for a puppy. He is very gentle and calm, curious and playful. He loves water. He likes to stand in the rain or his water bowl.  He is starting to get the German Shepherd stance when on alert in the backyard. I bought a battery operated ball that rolls around on its own. When I turn it on he focuses on it and chases it around pawing at it, but will not pick it up with his mouth. He must think its alive because he won't pick it up and chew on it like all the other toys. Looks like a cat playing with a mouse. We love him so much. He is a great dog. He is my (giant) little buddy. My 10 year old German Shepherd died of cancer in November of 2011. I am still heartbroken. I have tears in my eyes just typing this. But 7 helps fill the void that Comanche left. I am so happy my wife found you and convinced me to get another Shepherd.

Thank you,

Rob

This is "Berlin" a female pup from Chaos x Anji's 2008 litter.

She now resides with Suzanne in FL.

Read Berlin's story (below) it will give you chills.  Way to go Berlin !!!

We are sooo very proud of you !!!!!

Berlin

Berlin photo taken 4/24/12

Hey Kathy,

I just wanted to send you some recent photos of Berlin. She is the love of my life and everyday I love her more and more. I can't believe she is going to be 4 already this year. Wow! how time flys. But I have a crazy story to tell you about....

A couple weeks ago, I had to go to the ER around 5am because I had been vomiting for almost 24hours straight and was just so sick and dehydrated. Well the doctor had given me a medication for nausea/vomiting that makes you super sleepy and groggy. So when I got back home later that day I took the medication and laid down to finally sleep while Stephen left to go to the fire station and work the rest of his shift. Now it's almost noon on a tuesday and I hadn't slept since sunday night since I was so sick throwing up and stuff. Needless to say, with the medication and lack of sleep I was OUT! I give this medication to patients at work all the time so I know how it knocks people out.

Well probably about an hour and a half later something just wakes me up out of nowhere. I start looking around the room and blinking my eyes to try and fully wake up. Then I hear a dog just going nuts. I hear all these growling and barking and snarling noises. That's when it really hit me and I realized "holy crap, that's Berlin!" I jump out of bed and barely make it out of my bedroom and into the hallway when I see Berlin in front of me and some man standing in my hallway. She was snapping and snarling at him and he had his arms out like trying to swoosh her away or something and was yelling at her. I grab my .38 special revolver that I keep right by the bed and my phone and call 911. Berlin would not let this man go anywhere especially towards me. At just about that same time I see my neighbor walk into my house with his shot-gun and on the phone with 911 too. Apparently my neighbor had seen my door wide open, saw that Stephen's car was gone so he knew I was home alone and could hear Berlin going crazy so he peaked in and saw this man and right away called 911 while running back to his house to grab his gun. Well between my neighbor, Berlin, and me all threatening this man, he stayed right there until the first cop showed up. 15 minutes later I had 12 cop cars lined up the street and the man was arrested and in the back of one of the cop cars.

Come to find out, this man was a previous tennant in this rental house that I'm currently renting and is a bi-polar schizophrenic who hadn't taken any medication in over 2 weeks and was now in the manic stage and lost and confused. My neighbor recognized him right away and remembered who he was and knew this man was mentally ill so he didn't wait one second to jump into action and help me. I am so thankful to have such good neighbors here. But this man pprently couldn't remember how to get back to his home so he came to what he thought was his home...only it wasn't, it was my house. And to top it off I always lock my doors when I'm home but this was the one time I had forgotten to go back and lock the door before I went to lay down so he just literally walked right in.

But thank God this man didn't hurt me or Berlin for that matter but had Berlin not been there to protect me, I don't know what could/would have happened. She was ultimately what woke me up out of my deep, drug induced sleep lol. I don't know if I would have woke up had she not been going nuts. I have never, NEVER seen Berlin in an attack mode like she was. She looked like a K9 police dog or something, not my usual sweet-little girl. Looking back I almost have to laugh because I would have never thought in a million years that something like this would ever happen to me. I always talk about how Berlin is super protective but she really impressed me after this whole episode.   Anywho, I had to share my story with you. I thought you would enjoy hearing it and that Berlin would make you proud :)

Hope all is well, Suzanne and Berlin

Lucas and Abbey had a photo shoot at the park today and learned how to get a drink from the drinking fountain. They are just amazing at the things they learn.  Such a wonderful joy to have them.  Thanks again for bringing them into this world and allowing them to be apart of our family, to teach and enjoy.

Hi Kathy & Willy,

How are you both? We are all doing great. Lucas and Abbey are just growing and growing. Lucas is now at 107 lbs Abbey is about 65 lbs and getting taller
every day.

They are both still doing really good at school with training.  I take them to the park almost every day, and they are great with walking on and off leash. They have learned how to stand and get a drink from the drinking fountain. I just need to get a picture of them, but I'm always pushing the button for water.  They run in the open fields, Abbey does a couple of laps then checks in with me and goes back out for more.  Lucas stands in the middle and waits for her to come after him.  Took pictures yesterday, hope you enjoy them.

Have a great weekend.

Take Care,

Rita

Hi Kathy and Willy,

Hope things are going good for you guys.  Took Gunner to the Vet today to get blood drawn for his heart worm preventative.  He weighs 80 pounds and healthy as can be.  I got offered 3 dogs to take home and get trained.  They couldn't believe he was so well behaved.  I told them that I really didn't work with him that much to get him that way.  I told them that's just his temperament.  He just wants to please, for me anyways.  He doesn't listen as well to my wife.  With that being said, I've moved down the chain and my oldest is definitely his number one. They're inseparable.  Which I don't mind.  I still take him to daycare at least once a week and he comes home dog tired. No pun intended.  haha.  I think that's been his saving grace, he's around so many different dogs and people that when we go for walks he pays them no attention.  We got stopped by security forces the other night and they said your dog needs to be on a leash.  I said he is and he's carrying it in his mouth.  I do have to work on his heel.  You can't walk strait, because he's leaning into you so much that he turns you.  I have to wait about four months to get him certified to be a good citizen dog.  There is a nursing home and children's hospital down town that are always looking for dogs to bring in.  I think that he'd really enjoy it cause he loves people.

Talk to you later.

Mike

Hi Kathy,

How are you?  How are all your dogs doing?  I hope all is well.  Its been forever since I've updated you on Roxy!  I cannot believe she is over 3 years old.
Well, Roxy is doing incredible.  And we are all doing very well.

Roxy is now a big sister... Luke and I had a baby 3 weeks ago.  Roxy has taken on her big sister/ dog-mom role so well.  Luke and I were a little nervous about introducing a baby to Roxy since she's been our baby for so long.  But she has done way better with the baby than we could imagine.  Roxy still gets lots of our attention, but she is so gentle and curious about our new baby, Ava.  Roxy always checks up on Ava whenever she comes into the room and gives her one big lick on the head.  Haha!

Roxy and your breeding ability continues to impress both Luke and I as well as everyone who meets Roxy.  She is such an amazing dog.

So we just wanted to thank you again for breeding such an amazing dog and update you on all our wonderful news.

Have a good day!
Carrie

Hello Kathy,

We got 'Wolfgang' (now known as Dexter) from you several months ago as my husband's service dog.

Dexter is doing great, he has graduated from obedience training with the area's leading dog trainer and has several tricks up his sleeve! He's a very quick learner and we are all very proud of how far he's come in his training.  Dexter is very smart, protective and alert while at the same time he is also incredibly sweet and gentle. He is the perfect German Shepherd.

One day, we took him to the dog park and happened to meet the president of the area's German Shepherd association.  He was very impressed by Dexter's beauty and intelligence.  Dexter is a head turner everywhere we go and literally stops traffic when we take him out for his walks.

He absolutely loves playing fetch and does so two times a day as play time for him and therapy for my husband.  Dexter is incredibly energetic and gets so excited when he gets to play with his tug toys as he has a very high prey drive.

We still have him on a holistic, corn and grain free diet.
We are very proud to pass your information along to anyone who asks where we got him from.

We are all preparing to go to overseas for several months and are looking forward to introducing him to friends and family.

We will definitely be in touch soon. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Regards,

Dexter's Family

This is "Bullet" a male pup from Ulta x Bo's June 2011 litter.

"Bullet" now resides in Wentzville, MO.

"Bullet"

Hi Kathy!

Hope all is well with you!  I guess it’s almost time for Jimbo to go to his new home, huh?  Boy, that has to be hard for you!   I think about that often and now that Bullet’s in our lives, I seriously doubt I could let him go… ever!  What a joy he’s been!

I’ve attached a couple of recent pictures… they don’t do him justice though!  He’s got more vibrant color (reds) than these show.  They’re from my phone, so not the greatest quality.

Bullet is about 80 lbs now.  He’s taller than Sasha, and almost her weight.  He’s definitely longer than she is also.  He loves his sister, and they play, and play and play!  As you can see in one of these photos, he also loves his feline brother, Charlie.    Charlie’s favorite place to be in the evening is on our ottoman, and now Bullet thinks that he should be there too!

He also wants his evening “cuddle” and every evening, when Bob and I sit down to watch some TV, he’s up over our laps (thinks he’s a “lap-radore”) and wants to be held the way we did when he was little.  He’s got such a great personality!

Have had him on Taste of the Wild for about two and a half months now, and his coat is absolutely gorgeous!  The vet asked when we bathed him last, and we told him, “never.”  He was floored!  He said his has the most beautiful coat he’s ever seen!  It is silky and shiny…  even his tail.  I keep telling him I’m going to use his tail as a scarf next winter!  It’s so long and gorgeous… hits the floor when he’s standing.

We’re just thrilled with our big boy!   We couldn’t have asked for a better dog!

So another big thanks to you for taking such care to product high quality animals.  Bullet is much more than an animal to us… he’s a magnificent companion and member of our family.

Betsy

Jimbo is one AMAZING dog!  We hand raised him from birth, he was bottle fed as

he was one of 13.  This was to be our pick of the litter male for our breeding program, but we allowed Jim N in Hawaii to have our choice.  Due to Hawaii being a rabies free state we had to keep him for almost 9 mos.  We now know first hand the QUALITY pups produced by Ulta x Bo!  One word describes Jimbo the best... AMAZING!!!  Jimbo is so gentle, kind, loving, loyal, attentive, investigative and protective and most of all Intelligent!  There will NEVER be another dog like him! We will miss him terribly!!!!

Well I hope all is well with you.  Thank you again for a super amazing puppy she is very loved and spoiled : )

Gunner is doing great.  He is very smart, sometimes too smart.  I took him to the vet last week to get weighed for his heart worm preventative and he was 71.1 pounds.  I don't get anything but compliments on how beautiful and well behaved he is, me being a proud poppa I say "I know.  Thank you."  The girls that run the doggy daycare love him to death.  He's so kind hearted and loves sitting in peoples laps.  I try and take him up there at least once a week.  He gets in the truck and lays down, but then when we go over a set of train tracks he knows we're getting close and he pops up and starts looking and then he gets excited when he sees the building.  It is really paying off.  He is so confident now, and I don't worry when I take him out in public.  I don't need a leash.  He heels so well that it just dangles or he's carrying it in his mouth.  I couldn't be happier than what I am with him.  My girls still won't leave him alone.  I think he's getting use to them now.  They hand feed him.  They pull food out of his dish when he's trying to eat so he can eat it out of their hands.  I have to get on them so he can eat in peace.  He won't leave my side for anything.  He's laying on my feet right now.  My old German Shepherd had black spots on his tongue and now Gunner has one big one on his.  I hope you guys are doing well and I know your busy with those new pups.  Can't wait to see some pics of them.  Talk to you later.

Mike

Hi Kathy and Willy,

Happy New Year!!

Ok, so I know I'm late with these, but it has been an absolutely crazy 2 months.
We can not believe that Jaxx just turned 1 and Minos and Lucy are 18 months. The outside pics are from November and the rest we took over Christmas.

Having lots of fun. Lucy just got licensed as a hospital dog at a children's cancer center.

As for personalities...well Minos is the big goofball that everyone falls in love with instantly.  Without fail everyone we meet wants to be introduced to him.  He is very graceful when walking, running and doing agility work.  Lucy is the boss... Although Jaxx is the Alpha, Lucy runs the show and the other 2 know she's in charge.  So lovable, she could be pet for hours.  She wants to play with everyone she meets, including other dogs. Jaxx...what to say about Jaxx.  On the one hand he's like that relative that everyone has in their family:)  He's in trouble a lot and it seems the other 2 know it and are in disbelief that he hasn't learned his lesson. He is the protector in the family.  Ever vigilant and watchful of the kids.

Enjoy the pics.

Talk soon,
John
